The Knights of Columbus St. Raphael Council is growing in Naperville, and we welcome new members, transfers and returning members. The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic Men's Fraternal Service Organization that focuses on Church, Community, Council, Family and Youth Activities. By joining prospective members enjoy the fellowship of taking part in activities with fellow Catholic gentlemen. The Knights of Columbus make a difference in our parishes and community everyday.

 
The Fraternal Benefits of Membership

The Knights offer an number of different Fraternal Benefits, such as:

  • The Order's insurance program, Rated AAA ( Superior) by Standard and Poor's and A (Superior) by A.M. Best.
  • There is an Orphan Fraternal Benefit for orphans of eligible families available, a Family Fraternal benefit and a Member / Spouse Fraternal benefit (to provide free accidental death coverage for all members in good standing and their spouses).
  • Scholarships are available for Members and their families as well as for Seminarians.
  • The Order also offers Student Loans to Members, their spouses and children.
  • Each new members receives a K of C Rosary blessed by the supreme chaplain.
  • Each Knight receives a free subscription to Columbia Magazine.

How can I Join

To join St. Raphael Knights of Columbus Council 14171, you need to fill out a membership form which is available from officers of the Council. You can call one of the officers or members. Once the form has been completed, you will be contacted and met with to discuss what membership in the Knights can mean to you and your family.

In addition to the Fraternal benefits that are available to the membership, you will also discover a camaraderie of like-minded Catholic men who are interested in their faith, their families, and their communities.

What you put into it. The Knights are a wonderful collection of men who care. While no large organization is perfect, you will make new friends and have opportunities to share and deepen your faith.

Are there any limitations on joining
Yes. To join the Knights, you must be over 18. You must also be a practical Catholic as understood by the Church. You need to keep your dues current. You will get a lot more from the Knights if you are active and participating.

Yes. The current dues are $35.00 per year.

Am I required to participate
No. Membership is voluntary. Participation is voluntary. But why join if you are not going to participate. Does this mean that you have to be at every meeting, and attend every function? No. There are a lot of great men in St Raphael Knights of Columbus Council 14171. Why not join up and meet them?
